Terms of Use
Last updated July 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Career Hub by Edverum AI career-services platform (the "Service") provided to your educational institution. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
The Service is made available through your institution to enrolled students, career-services staff, and administrators. Accounts are provisioned by your institution; you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify your career-services office immediately of any unauthorized use.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended educational and career-services purposes, and not to:
- access, or attempt to access, records or accounts that are not yours;
- upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or malware;
- interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Service or its security controls; or
- use the Service to harass, defraud, or misrepresent any person.
3. Student education records and FERPA
The Service processes student "education records" as defined by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), 20 U.S.C. § 1232g, on behalf of and under the direction of your institution. The provider acts as a "school official" with a "legitimate educational interest" and processes education records solely to perform the services your institution has authorized. Education records are not used for any other purpose and are not disclosed except as permitted by FERPA and your institution's policies. Students retain the rights afforded under FERPA, including the right to inspect and request amendment of their education records; such requests are handled through your institution.
4. Content you provide
You retain ownership of the résumés, cover letters, and other materials you submit. You grant your institution and the provider a limited license to store and process that content to operate the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, including self-reported employment and licensure status.
5. Third-party services and links
The Service may link to employer sites and integrate third-party tools (for example, video-interview or scheduling providers). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, and your institution's data-processing agreements. The provider is not responsible for third-party content.
6. Availability and disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. The provider does not guarantee employment, licensure, or any particular outcome. Career-readiness scores and job matches are informational aids, not guarantees.
7. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through your institution or the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
8. Contact
Questions about these Terms should be directed to your institution's career-services office, which coordinates with the provider on your behalf.
